Ghost’s quadruped bots are the scary older brother of every other dog robot you’ve ever seen. And with good reason. They’re shipping off to join the military.

Astronomers have discovered a “celestial highway” to travel through the Solar System much faster than was previously possible. The development raises the prospect of rapidly sending crafts across vast swathes of space.

no mics needed to listen in. a laser/lidar with line of sight on anything that vibrates by sound is enough (even a hanging ceiling lamp) https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/your-robot-vaccum-can-spy-private-conversations (edited)

@Proioxis Should be way easier with lidar, like found in newer iphones (making mass production cheaper, making them accessible for cheaper appliences)

Researchers plan to use this technology to replace the actor's face when he needs to play an older person
We propose an algorithm for fully automatic neural face swapping in images and videos. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first method capable of rendering photo-realistic and temporally coherent results at megapixel resolution. To this end, we introduce a progressively trained multi-way comb network and a light- and contrast-preserving b...

Cloud cover, and even in some cases walls, can't block this ultra-precise satellite's view.
The satellite beams down a powerful 9.65 GHz radio signal toward its target, and then collects and interprets the signal as it bounces back up into orbit.

Schauberger's writings will either sound completely crazy or will completely reshape your understanding of science. Read with caution, but know it has the tools we need to revive our forests. I'd send a bigger book, but this'll have to do for now unless i just break up the bigger books into a couple rars each.

Timelapse assembly of the new FMDA DD17.2 3D printed Glock frame. 1x speed video is 28 minutes - meaning I assembled, while narrating each step, the frame in under 30 minutes. Note the lack of sanding, filing, and dremeling in the video. Might be on track for an Xmas release. https://t.co/ez1ymLDNPA

smells like predictive programming (like the matrix ect) and in theory possible. drone swarms definitely being worked on. but lets keep to confirmed/real tech. otherwise better to drop it in #🧠-society-of-the-spectacle
